Senior Pictures:
May 2021 Update: I'm retiring from photography / videography.
I need to focus on my graduate research, and once I graduate in December 2021 with my Masters degree I might not be in the Clemson area any more. Thank you for visiting my site, and if you're looking for a graduation photographer congratulations on your achievements so far!
Thank you for considering me for taking your senior pictures! This page will go through what you can expect before, during, and after a senior photo session with me. There is a gallery of my work at the bottom of the page. I'll leave this page up for future photographers to take inspiration from.
Before: Planning Ahead
Time
The shoot itself will take approximately 2 hours. See the "Picture Locations and Route" section below for details.
The best time to start is 2-3 hours before sunset. This gives us the best lighting for the pictures. Cloudy days are actually a good thing.
What to Bring
-
Cap and Gown
-
Class ring (if you have one)
-
Flats (walk between locations)
-
Anything else you want!
-
Friend for carrying things
-
Parent
-
Dog
-
Bubbles, Chalkboard, Champagne, biodegradable Confetti, Signs, Band/Military Uniform, second outfit, etc.
-
Expectations
We will walk to the locations detailed below and take a variety of pictures at each location. Some with cap and gown, some only cap, some just in your dress/suit.
Within 2 weeks I will send the pictures to you through an online gallery where you can download all of them (free). There will be 40-100 pictures.
Locations and Route
The route can be customized for what you want - this route is just what I typically do. If you don't care about pictures at a certain location we can skip it to save time. Conversely, if you want pictures at places not on the route, just ask!
-
Football stadium by Howard's Rock and across the street
-
Tillman
-
Bowman
-
(sometimes) Clemson University sign by downtown
-
Carillon Gardens and bell
-
Sikes and/or Business Buildings
-
Reflection pond
-
(sometimes) Building(s) of your choice - Brooks Center, Life Sciences Building, Riggs, etc
-
What if it rains? If rain is forecasted for the day of pictures then we will reschedule. The earlier you take your pictures before graduation the easier this will be.
-
Can I bring my dog/cat/tiger?Yes! I just ask that you also bring a friend or someone to keep control of it while I take pictures of you without the dog - I can't juggle taking pictures and keeping track of a dog. But you are absolutely welcome to bring a pet!
-
Can I purchase prints?Yes, the gallery link I share with you has options for ordering prints. Alternately, you can download the digital files and order pictures at a print shop of your choice such as Walmart Photos, Shutterfly, Walgreens, etc.
-
How and when do I pay you?You can pay me with Venmo, Paypal, Check, Cash, or Chick-Fil-A/Amazon gift card. I ask that you pay me when we are together for the photo shoot - either before we go around and take pictures, or when we end.
-
Can I take pictures with more than 3 people?...Maybe. If we do pictures with more than 3 people it ends up taking significantly longer (2.5 hours+) and everyone involved is tired of taking pictures by the end of it. With larger groups I would probably only take pictures at a few of the locations on the list - maybe just Stadium, Tillman, and Sikes. Just email/message me and we can figure it out!
-
Can we take pictures inside the football stadium? If we time it right, yes. In the spring semester you can go into the stadium on Saturdays of baseball games (I think). In the fall you can go in the stadium on Sundays after football games (Maybe). Mention if this is something you want to do and I'll look into it and figure it out for sure.
-
I'm a guy and I only want like 10 pictures, just in front of Tillman/Bowman/Sikes, can I get a better deal than $85?"Absolutely, just ask! I know that guys are often only getting them for the sake of their parents/grandparents, and if you only want a few pictures all close to each other I'll be happy to give you a price like $50.
-
I'll be graduating in x years, will you still be here?"Probably. I'm a co-op (+1 year) and planning to get my Masters degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer engineering (+2 years), so my current final graduation date is planned for May 2022.

Pricing
I charge $85 for one person, or $60 per person for groups of 2 or 3. I usually don't do groups larger than 3 but I can if you want! For groups I'll take some individual pictures of each person at each location and some together. Everything is flexible so if you want something different, just ask!

Recommended Photographers
If I don't have any availability that fits with your schedule or my style just isn't what you're looking for, please check out some of these other photographers that do senior pictures in Clemson. I know them through photography club or my job with the athletics department, and I can personally recommend each one of them. Click their picture to go to their portfolio with contact information. I hope that you find what you're looking for in one of them, and thank you for considering me!
